Mr James Brockman: Award for Excellence, Male Worker
James is an Indigenous Services Officer with Midwest Community Drug Services, WA who has made a substantial commitment to the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol through both his professional employment and his voluntary commitments.
Ms June Oscar: Award for Excellence – remote, Female Worker
June, the Chief Executive of the Marninwarntikura Women’s Resource Centre in Fitzroy Crossing, WA, has been instrumental in pushing for increased capabilities to diagnose and provide better services and support for people with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD), where children suffer from varying degrees of brain damage when their mother drinks during pregnancy.
Mr Chris Ryder: Award for Excellence – remote, Male Worker
Chris is an initiated Eastern Arrentre man who has been committed to reducing harms related to harmful substance use among Aboriginal families and young people, both personally and professionally. He has been an instigator of Bushmob Santa Teresa Horse Culture Healing treks since 2009.

Gabrielle, a Senior Drug and Alcohol counsellor for the Winnunga Nimmityjah Aboriginal Medical Centre in the ACT, has over 20 years experience in the health and welfare sector.
Mr Paul Parfitt: Award for Excellence, Male Worker
Paul is a Project Officer with the Quitline Aboriginal liaison Team at the Drug and Alcohol Office in WA who has spent most of his working life in the health and broader social services assisting his people gain better access to health services.
Mr Richard Burchill: Encouragement Award
Richard works with the Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Service in Mossman, Queensland where he assists in community harm reduction and health promotion activities.
